Big Dreams – Rajeev Khandelwal
Rajeev Khandelwal has already conquered many hearts as television’s most adorable hero. Now, he takes his first step to don the big screen. The small screen star, who a few months back opted out of SAB TV’s popular Left Right Left, will act in debutant Raj Kumar Gupta’s film Amir.
“I’ve been getting scripts for the last couple of years. This is the most exciting project that I came across,†says Khandelwal, who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. “It’s a realistic story and I’m playing a very believable character.â€Â
Amirâ€â€to be produced by Spotboy, an arm of UTV Motion Picturesâ€â€tells the story of a Muslim professional who lands in Mumbai from London, only to be entangled in a series of hassles. “I’m playing a middleclass guy who faces the most unexpected situation. The movie is a fast-paced thriller,†adds Khandelwal, who had signed Amir even before UTV was roped in as a producer.
The shooting of the film will begin in the next few days. “For the time being, I won’t consider any TV offers because I do only one project at a time,†says Khandelwal. Amir has no heroine and song-and-dance sequences. “I never thought I would act in such a project as my debut. But I went for it because of the script,†Khandelwal adds.

hi all n hello sonya..
Itz really nice tat v’d get to see r very own rajeev in a movie very soon. However, never thot tat v’d see him in such a serious role in his debut, no herione, no song n dance! Thot he’d choose a choclatie loverboy kinda role..
but u knw..this guy is UnIQuE..can expect such things frm him!
He does jus one tv show at a time without putting his foot into too many things at a time n i’v heard tat he doesn’t hv an attitude about working under any ‘brand’ or a big banner , be it television or a film, to get him fame! He believes in himself n gives his best wit complete justice!
I think this makes him more popular , v jus luv this perfect attitude!
Hope he does a good job again this time! Waiting to watch aamir..n trust me, itz gona be first day, first show!

its really good to know that rajeev is entering bollywood. He played the part of Sujal and Captain Rajveer but all fans would agree with me that no other actor could be imagined in these roles. When you say Sujal its Rajeev’s face that comes to mind. He’s a very nice guy and hope he finds a really good life partner. Someone who understands him fully. All the very best to him for his future.
